Bookweek 2006
One of the biggest events on the library's calander is nearly upon us once again. Every year, book week is given a different theme; this year it is "Book Now" and will be held from the 21st-25th August.
As part of the celebrations, a number of classes from primary schools in Chinchilla will be visiting the library. Children will be given a secret identity, hear about the competition we will be running, and be invited to a special event to be held at the library. Of course, they will also listen to stories and hear about all the services the library offers.
We hope the children will have as much fun taking part in the activities as the library staff have had in preparing them.
