Masked Ball
A part of the Bookweek celebrations, all children who visited the library received an invitation to the Masked Ball that was held at the library the following Thursday night.
A large number of various superheroes turned up, as well as many animals, fairies and princess.
The kids had a great time dancing, playing games and eating. Prizes were awarded for the best dressed, best masks, best dancers and winners of 'celebrity heads'.
Thanks must go to the parents who helped with costumes/ masks and brought food; the gromits for helping out and supervising; and of course the children who turned up. We really appreciate the children being so well behaved, and the effort everyone made to help make the event a success.
