...albiet a month late! The library has been very busy over the last couple of months-

Over the school holidays a number of things have been happening.

1. Crafts- Crafts were held every afternoon for primary school aged children. The stories and activities were based around the theme of pirates, spies and magicians. Some of the activities included learning card tricks and going on a treasure hunt.
2. WHACK- Writing Holiday Activity 4 Chinchilla Kids. Children can write a story in any format they want- as a comic, prose or just illustrations. The best stories win $25.
3. Summer Reading Club- Run by the State Library of Queensland. Just fill in the activity booklet and return it to the library to go into the draw to win an i-pod.
4. Colouring Competitions- Children could win a 4 person pass to see "Charlotte's Web" or "Flushed Away". Posters, sheets of stickers and balloons were also up for grabs.
